Dear Reader,
Thank you for being a subscriber to The Three Taverns.
We are seeing the importance of having your tribe, your clan, your family in daily life. That’s what a tavern is good for, a home living room, or a coffee shop. Meeting, connecting, sharing story, praying, it all strengthens us for the daily walk.
“The nations are in chaos and their kingdoms crumble!
God’s voice thunders and the earth melts!
The LORD of Heaven’s armies is here among us.
The God of Israel is our fortress.”
(Psalm 46:6-7, NLT)
Worldwide it is becoming clear that governments are shaking, borders are disappearing, sovereignty is being traded for global governance, it is all part of the unraveling of the kingdoms of men. To declare and give witness to the Lordship of Jesus Christ in daily life is the only answer and antidote to the confusion of this life.
STREET PREACHER

On several occasions I have been walking on the sidewalks in downtown Franklin and encountered an elderly gentleman out there sharing the Gospel with people, passing out tracts and with kindness trying to catch busy people's attention to point them toward eternal life.
I always stop to greet him, encourage him, and a time or two have prayed a blessing with him. Most politely accept a tract and walk on or ignore him altogether.
I have been where he is hundreds, maybe thousands, of times walking the streets of Nashville or other cities around the globe. I don't preach or witness on the streets in the same way anymore, but I have stories of hundreds of people praying to receive Jesus into their life as Lord and Savior, to commit their ways to Him and to enter into His kingdom in relationship with Him. I always want to encourage anyone who takes that bold public stand.
I love all styles of witness. It takes all kinds. I simply do not like the circus performances called “church” that much of our gatherings have become to compete for dollars with the church gathering across the street or on the other side of town, all trying to entertain bored saints who are not in the battle for the souls of others.
Raise up the quiet witness, the closeted prayer warrior, the CEO of the large company, the educator, the Governor, the artist, the street preacher, the healer, the servant, the leader, the oracle, the writer, the father and mother raising their kids to know the King.
Any witness of the Lordship of Jesus He can use to His glory. HE is building HIS church and no one can put a limit on how He is choosing to do it through His body.
ALERT! MEMBERSHIP HAS ITS PRIVILEGES
I am in a membership network that gives ordinary people extraordinary access to gold and silver at direct supplier prices. This membership gives you access to gold and silver at 10-20% less than anyone else on the planet.
To gain entrance you must be invited by a current member. Instead of paying for expensive TV, radio and podcasters ads, we keep the money in the family and pay members to invite others into membership.
Two headlines from last week:
"Silver Prices Surge: Banks Face Billion-Dollar Losses.
Silver prices explode 6%, breaching $33.6/oz. Five major US banks face billions in losses from massive short positions."
(Jersusalem Post)
And…
"Why are gold prices hitting record highs?
Gold prices have soared more than 30% this year."
(ABC News)
Gold and silver have both outperformed the market by over 30% this year. Why?
Because the dollar is sinking.
BRICS nations have been buying tons of gold to back their currency and decouple from the dollar as the world's reserve currency.
Silver is manipulated and suppressed in price, so it has many new heights to hit.
Gold is expected to top $3,000 by years' end.
But I don't look at these metals with a "day trader" mindset; instead hold some as a safe haven for wealth protection.
Your adviser may tell you to buy gold and silver, but they sell gold stocks instead of the physical metal. Don't fall for that. Or they sell it through their company and you are using your retirement dollars and paying way too much for gold and silver.
I have helped dozens become a part of our community. Are you next? Let’s talk!
TAVERN TALKS TUESDAY!
TAVERN TALKS NEXT TUESDAY
This group of men meeting at The Mission Cigar & Social on Tuesday mornings at 7am has turned out to be incredibly encouraging and powerful. Open, honest, unedited is our policy.
"God and man, no religion" to quote David Bowie's song.
Real faith for real men facing the world's challenges.
FORWARD THIS INVITATION ALONG TO SOMEONE ELSE.
Honest stories, Bible studies, prayer, fellowship, and of course the first cigar of the day. We have non-cigar guys who come as well.
THIS WEEK: Jeff Culmer will be telling his story. Jeff is the tall red-headed guy who looks like he belongs in Braveheart; he's funny, honest, smokes the Perdomo Immenso, and loves baseball. We look forward to what he has to share with us.
NEXT WEEK: Monte Collins, whom I affectionately call by his Nicaraguan name Montez, will be sharing his story with us. Monte is one of the owners of The Mission.
Bring your coffee, your Bible, Febreze if you go to the office after, an open mind and open heart. You can purchase a cigar as well to enjoy your first cigar of the day.
We are really grateful to Mark, Monte and Willie for opening up The Mission early each Tuesday and participating in Tavern Talks!
Looking Up!
Tod Bell
Chief Tavern Host
P.S. Is building an ark such a bad idea? Trusting others to steward our wealth and personal sovereignty doesn’t seem to be working out so well!
Amen. Love this message.
